We continue to witness how mobile technology changes our lives. And in some instances, saves it. A man kidnapped at gunpoint and locked in the truck of a car was able to use his phone to get help. Sometimes we get a little cranky when we write the monthly check for our phone bill but we need to remember that its more than a fancy gadget. Its a tool for contacting the appropriate personnel in the times of need.
